PRE-SALES SUPPORT FOR WORKHOLDING SPECIALS
Special Application Chucksand Cylinders– Please send us, preferably a 3D model of the component, or send us the component and drawings (the component’s drawings, operation and machine details). The drawings can be in .dwg, .pdf, .jpeg format. We can design chucks for your requirements and work closely with you to make a lathe chuck to suit your components.

POST-SALES SUPPORT:REPLACING EXISTING LATHE CHUCK/CYLINDER

Is your existing lathe chuck/cylinder of GMT make? If yes, give us the serial number engraved on the chuck body face. Also if you are unable to give us the serial number, please provide us with complete spindle details along with the make and model of the machine.

POST-SALES SUPPORT: RECONDITIONING GMT MAKE LATHE CHUCKS/CYLINDERS

We recondition GMT make chucks and rotating cylinders to actuate the chuck. You have to send the product to our works after consulting our Sales Department. Subsequently, we will inspect and study the products and give you the details. Most standard products willbe reconditioned within seven working days after Order Acceptance. NOTE: Other brand chucks can be replaced by equivalent GMT Chucks, but GMT does not provide service for other brands of chucks/

 

POST-SALES SUPPORT: CUSTOMER EDUCATION PROGRAMME (CEP) ON CHUCK MAINTENANCE

CEP – Make optimum use of your chucks! We conduct a Customer Education Programme on chuck lubrication and maintenance for CNC operators and supervisors. Besides, this training will help you to extend the life of your chucks. This Proactive Preventive Maintenance training also helps to prevent unscheduled stoppages, thereby saving money and time.

To enrol in our free Customer Education Programme on chuck lubrication and maintenance, write to us at esales@gmt.co.in with the following details:

  1. Details of your company with full address
  2. Number of CNC machines in your factory
  3. Existing chuck details like the models and number of GMT chucks you have.
  4. Number of persons to be trained
  5. Also, the availability of hall and audiovisual equipment

Please note that the venue has to be arranged in your premises. Besides, the time and date have to be fixed by mutual discussion.

POST-SALES  SUPPORT – FLAT LAPPING MACHINES

GMT will recondition or supply new Lap Plates and Conditioning Rings on request, and conduct customer maintenance programmes on use and maintenance of GMT Flat Lapping Machines.
